Our Mission?

To make sustainable choices easy. We recognize that not everyone has the time to do extensive research, and that when we don't have the knowledge, we tend to default to what is easiest. Most of the time what is easiest, is not the best for us or the planet. We are here to change that. We aim to bring you a large selection of products that you use in your daily life, but versions that are healthier yet not lacking the shopping experience you love. 

To make sustainable choices cute and fun. Because why do you need to compromise? Most of us care about our health and the planet, but not all of us identify with the traditional earthy aesthetic (not that there is ANYTHING wrong with that). So, on the days when you are feeling pink, or quirky, or hey, even earthy, we want you to have the selection of products that still make you feel your best during your skincare routine. 

To reduce waste in the beauty industry. There are billions of units of waste produced by the beauty industry every year. 120 billion units, to be exact. At The Canopy Collective, we do not want any part of that. Each of our retailers has a different way of being sustainable with their packaging and manufacturing, so look at the product descriptions for more information on that. Just know if we carry it, its sustainable and we will always be transparent with you. 

To protect our planet. It is really that simple. Chemicals that are harsh for you, are harsh for the planet. Irresponsible manufacturing practices contribute to global warming. Waste doesn't always end up in landfills. That is why in addition to working with brands who are sustainable and transparent about their manufacturing processes, ingredients, and packing, we plant a tree with every order. To protect animals. Animal testing just isn't right. We also don't believe in using animals in any way shape or form in our products. That is why all of our products will be vegan and cruelty free. Always. 

To educate. We want you to know everything we know. Look for information in our product descriptions, on our blog, through emails and on our social media.

The more educated we are, the better decisions we can make.
